Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (NYSE: LH) announced recently that it expects to complete previously announced spin-off of Fortrea Holdings Inc ( Labcorp’s Clinical Development and Commercialization Services business) in June 2023.
The first day of trading is expected to be July 3rd, 2023.
Fortrea shares will be traded on NASDAQ stock market under the symbol “FRTE”.
Labcorp expects that a “when-issued” public trading market for Fortrea’s common stock will begin on or around June 16, 2023, under the symbol “FTREV,” and will continue through the distribution date.
